This year has seen to a lot of rumors pointing towards Bethesda working on a new Fallout 4 installment. As the year comes to an end, many assumed that the studio would take the opportunity of the upcoming VGX awards, (previously known as VGAs), and announce the new game.
However, a recent tweet from vice president of PR and marketing at Bethesda Pete Hines suggests that Bethesda Softworks will not be showing or talking about any of its upcoming unannounced titles at the VGX.
“No, folks. I am not going to VGX,” write Hines. “Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX. Just some PR meetings in LA. Take deep breaths.”
The 2011 Spike Video Game Awards saw to Bethesda making a surprise announcement of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim through a teaser video. Dare we hope that the studio will pull it off again this year with a teaser reveal of Fallout 4?
thesurvivor2299 has been the prime reason for all the hype. Bethesda has yet to comment on it and so far it looks to be the work of a fan. However, with each passing week, the website pours in hints towards a new Fallout installment. Their last tease was a couple of weeks ago.
