It’s been only two weeks since the PlayStation 4 launched in North America, but it’s plenty considering GameStop has now listed refurbished consoles to be made available soon.
Usually, refurbished items go for a much cheaper rate. Accidentally opened boxes, scratched surfaces, flawed items that have been now fixed. However, GameStop is not offering the console itself. The retailer is offering two PlayStation 4 bundles, one which comes with a Vita and the other with additional goodies.
The first, called Refurbished PlayStation 4 Shooter Bundle features a refurbished console, Killzone:Shadow Fall, Call of Duty: Ghosts, an additional DualShock 4 and one year of PlayStation Plus for $609.95.
The second bundle is called the PlayStation 4 Refurbished Remote Play Bundle and comes with a refurbished PlayStation 4, a refurbished PlayStation Vita, Killzone:Shadow Fall, Assassin’s Creed Liberation and one Year PlayStation Plus Membership. This will cost you $694.95.
Both bundles are only listed on the retailer’s site and are yet to be made available. It’s possible that by the time the availability is made, refurbished Xbox One packages will also be listed on GameStop.
The PlayStation 4 was launched in UK last week and successfully managed to become the fastest selling console in the nation’s history, beating the previous record of the PSP back in 2005.
