Warner Bros. has confirmed today that Batman: Arkham Origins – Initiation DLC will release tomorrow for £5.49 on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.
Initiation sees to Bruce Wayne proving himself to be deemed worthy by master ninja Kirigi, the same one who taught Ra’s al Ghul’s League of Assassins, and hence be trained in the mysterious ways of the ninja.
The pack will feature two original skins – Initiation Bruce Wayne and Vigilante Bruce Wayne, with four new challenge maps spread across exotic locations.
“Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery,” reads the press release.
The whole DLC is basically a bunch of challenge maps with a bit of narrative to help players connect the dots. Initiation is part of the game’s season pass, and holders will get the content for free.
Batman: Arkham Origins was released just over a month ago, and I for one enjoyed it greatly.
I would agree with reviewers that the game borrowed a lot from Arkham City but to an extent failed to deliver us something new. However, that said, Origins is still a great addition to the Arkham franchise and features a good story telling that will have you swooping in the city non-stop.
