If you count, there are 23 different Warhammer 40K games out of which 9 have come out after 2010. Doesn’t that number say it is okay if we don’t see another game for some time? Well, I guess it doesn’t because the 24th game in the Warhammer 40K series is Warhmmer 40K: Space Wolf.
The game was originally announced back in August this year but we have only seen what it looks like now. First Warhammer 40K: Space Wolf Trailer shows us its turn based tactical combat gameplay. Moving on to introduce the key playable characters, it also shows off the vast array of weapons that would be used.
Some of the key characters like Wolf Scout, Wolf Guard and Grey Hunter use tools and weapons like Thunder Hammer – boy that name!, Jump Pack, Bolter and Flamer though the game.
Warhammer 40K Space Wolf is a card based game where you gather cards for weapons and moves. Obviously the actual battle is on screen in 3D. For those who do not want to spend wearisome hours collecting the different cards that would give them the perfect game, real money purchases are also an option.
Other than that, you can simply earn new weapons through winnig battles and/or upgrade the previous ones using the Iron Prestige’s Forge.
So far, Games Workshop and HeroCraft have announced the game for iOS, Android and Windows but certain “other platforms” are also expected. Warhammer 40K Space Wolf will be released in the second quarter of 2014.
