Black Friday is everywhere and since digital distribution platforms have to wrestle against the behemoth that is Steam, online store GOG.com will also put up a promotional sale. This weekend, you’ll be able to receive a discount of up to 70% on over 60 games.
Many different genres are included in the sale. One of the plugged games is Chronicles of Riddick: The Assault on Black Athena, which provides some tense action in an alien nightmare world. Fittingly so, it also clings to the “black” theme, being as it stems from the Pitch Black movie franchise.
For more family-friendly entertainment, you can pick up Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe, which lets you create an amusement park of your very own. Its building simulation design is quite the favorite among PC gamers.
Many more deals are available. The Black Friday Weekend Promo will run until December 3, 2013.
This is only one of many sales that GOG.com has launched this month. Previously, it also set up a charity event for three different organizations. There, it even paid out of pocket to ensure all profits would be donated.
In another event, it held a sale that featured one game at a time. Each title would come up with a counter, noting the amount of games left to be sold.
Once depleted, the next sale would come up. It ran on a full 24-hour a day slot and hid a few free games in there, which flew by instantaneously.
