Omega Force’s monster bashing action game, Toukiden: The Age of Demons is a PlayStation Vita title that graced Japan in June this year.
The game was later given a green signal for shipment to North America and Europe. It has now been announced that the game will be released in Europe on February 14, 2014.
So Tecmo Koei, the publisher plans to unleash monsters and monster hunters into Europe on Valentines Day – sweet.
When Toukiden: The Age of Demons was released in Japan, it managed to sell exactly 122,794 units in the launch week according to sales tracking company Media Create. This, astonishingly, is greater than the number of units sold by Super Mario 3D World in its opening week.
Get yourselves ready to be the Slayers and protect the ancient Japan from Oni. The storyline is pretty much like that of Monster Hunter but then there is an element of customization, weapons, armour and on helluva monster army.
As for the folks who would want to get a copy of the game set aside for themselves through pre-orders; you will receive Mitama of Momotaro. It is a soul that strengthens the skills of your character and bring you cat ears armor. According to the lore, cat ears protect your head.
The bonus content on pre-orders will be awarded to those who order Toukiden: The Age of Demons through PlayStation Network.
Certain DLC packs including the Mitama (soul) of Niijima Yae, a fox mask and two extra missions will also be up for preorder at Game, Amazon and other major retailers.
