It has been three months since we have been waiting for the PlayStation Vita Invasion Mode content. In September we had been told that the content will be added to the game via a free patch but it took them nearly 80 days to get that done. Nevertheless, the patch is now here!
A tweet on Rayman Legends’ official Twitter page announced today that the forever awaited PlayStation Vita update was now available.

We have been told that the patch will add 28 Invasion levels to the game but that is all we know about it so far apart from the total size of the patch which is 385MB.
PlayStationLifeStyle reports that the reason why the levels were not originally in the game has been detailed by Ubisoft.
They have said that since the development time required was too long they had decided to release the invasion levels later, to the Vita version of the game. The game already has more than 100 levels, online coop and challenges that in themselves make it a pretty sizeable game.
Rayman Legends is a platform game by Ubisoft Montpellier that was released as a sequel to Rayman Origins back in 2011. The game was released in North America on September 3 and United Kingdom on August 30.
