Electronic Arts had really put in efforts to make a mark on the retail games market through the next generation launch. Looks like it is all going very smooth for them after all; EA has stated that one out of every three PlayStation 4 games sold in the first week of the launch are EA games.
Electronic Arts chief operating officer Peter Moore took to twitter after he had received the week one estimate of their sales figures.

The total number of launch titles for PlayStation 4 were 25 out of which 5 were by Electronic Arts. On the other hand, the retail games available on disc for Sony’s next generation console were 11 out of which four were EA games which make them 36% of the total games.
Now if they are referring to the on disc sales figures only; it reduces the impact of the news but it certainly puts them well ahead of the competition if the figure represents total games overall.
Games that were launched alongside PlayStation 4 include Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, NBA Live 14, and Need for Speed: Rivals. All of these are quite anticipated games and the sales figures were going to be impressive anyway. What do you think?
