Nintendo has announced another promotion to boost its appeal for the 3Ds systems. Starting November 27, owners of a Nintendo 3DS, XL version or a new 2DS can get a free download code for Super Mario 3D Land, when they register their device with an additional game.
This action will last until January 13, 2014 and work for a list of 15 eligible games, which are listed below.
- Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
- Fire Emblem: Awakening
- Luigi’s Mansion 2
- LEGO CITY® Undercover: The Chase Begins
- Sonic Lost World
- Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
- Pokémon X
- Pokémon Y
- Bravely Default
- New Super Mario Bros. 2
- Mario Kart 7
- Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy
You’ll need to register your handheld, along with the game, through Club Nintendo, the company’s reward system. After 24 hours of processing, you’ll then be able to return to claim your free download code for Super Mario 3D Land.
This voucher is valid until February 13, 2014 only, so don’t squander it. Furthermore, downloading the game from the Nintendo eShop will be available until March 13, 2014. Once again, try to be hasty about it.
Sonic Lost World and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate registration will only work for their 3DS editions. The upcoming Bravely Default will also be eligible in its Deluxe edition.
Moreover, Nintendo advices people who want to purchase a unit of the 3DS Link Between Worlds bundle on November 22 to hold off their registration. Registering before the promotion goes live on November 27 will disqualify your device for entry.
Nintendo held a similar promotion during last year’s holiday season for its Mario games. It periodically amplifies its major releases this way. It’s great if you wanted to get someone Pokémon or another new game for the holidays. You can now throw in this as well.
