Last month Nintendo announced that they would be bringing in a Pokemon Bank app, which would allow players to store up to 3,000 Pokemon on an online cloud. These can then be moved about in and out of your Pokemon X and Y games whenever you please. It would also allow you to transfer existing Pokemon from Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 as well.
It’s a paid service of which details were not shared until now. Those in UK will have to pay an annual fee of £4.99; while it’s €4.49 for those in Europe, $6.50 for ones in Australia and $8.50 for those in New Zealand. The company previously stated that the annual fee will go towards the management and maintenance cost of the servers for the service.
Nintendo has confirmed that the service will be available in Japan and Korea on December 25, 2013; while the rest of the world will get it on December 27, 2013.
Last month Nintendo fixed the agitating bug of Pokemon X & Y players corrupting their save files when saving the game in Lumiose City. The Pokemon X/Y 1.1 update not only removes the bug but also restores previously corrupted save files.
