A trailer released by Sucker Punch during the PlayStation 4’s launch event revealed that Infamous: Second Son will release for Sony’s new console on March 21, 2014.
The trailer itself offered a fabulous view of the game’s version of Seattle and another look on Delsin’s new Neon powers.
“With Neon, combat is all about precision from a distance,” explained lead designer Jaime Griesemer on the PlayStation blog. “Each shot hits hard, especially if you’re targeting the enemy’s weak points. Neon lets you dissect a squad of Dupes like a glowing purple surgeon.”
He also hinted that the power sequence shown at the end of the trailer is a strong finishing blow similar to the Smoke Power’s Orbital Drop.
Last month a $79.99 collector’s edition was revealed for Infamous: Second Son that features the full retail copy of the game along with a cover artwork exclusive to the Collector’s Edition, a replica of protagonist Delsin’s beanie, a set of 8 pins from Delsin’s in game vest, Delsin’s Legendary in game vest, a Department of Unified Protection Patch, vinyl decals and of course Cole’s Legacy DLC.
The PlayStation 4 is now available for purchase in North America and will be available in Europe on November 29.
