It is not a completely new game altogether but still a plus one in the PlayStation 4 launch titles list.
Trine 2: Complete Story will be released alongside the next generation console on November 15 i.e. hours from now, PlayStation Blog has announced.
This version of the game has been live on PCs since Trine 2 was upgraded to Complete Story back in June 2013 through Steam. Later it was announced that the game will be making its way to PlayStation 4 but no release date was specified.
Trine 2: Complete Story is a puzzle platform based side-scrolling action RPG which is being published by Sony itself. Developed by Frozenbyte, it is based in a fantasy fairytale world where you take up the role of the Knight, the Wizard or the Thief.
A trailer has also been released alongside the announcement, which showcases new skills like Knight’s Kitesail Shield and the Thief’s Low Gravity Arrow, try it out yourself.
The game will completely support DualShock 4 touch pad which means you will be able to draw objects and use them to interact within the game and according to the announcement, Trine 2: Complete Story will run at 1080p and at 60 frames per second.
It is also going to be one of the few games that are going to support stereoscopic 3D at launch. Well, get your 3D glasses ready and wait for the delivery van to bring in your PlayStation 4 and Trine 2: Complete Story will be all yours to enjoy – after costing you $19.99 of course.
