Even though the PlayStation 4 is launching on November 15, games for the console are now widely available for purchase. Many of whom did so have now reported in the install sizes for some of the console’s launch games, which includes both first and third-party titles.
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – 20GB
- Battlefield 4 – 40GB
- Call of Duty: Ghosts – 49GB
- Killzone: Shadow Fall – 45GB
- Knack – 37 GB
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes- 6.1GB
- NBA 2K14 – 50GB
NBA 2K14 is the only game so far that’s touching the 50GB mark; with Call of Duty: Ghosts following close behind with 49GB. Clearly the 500GB hard disk of the PlayStation 4 is going to be put to good use here.
Yesterday we also did a similar post for the launch titles of the Xbox One.
You can see how their installation sizes compare to that of the PlayStation 4. Seemingly the PS4 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts is a whole 10GB larger than its Xbox One counterpart. So are Battlefield 4 and NBA 2K14 which weigh in 6GB and 7GB respectively more than their Xbox One versions.
We’ll update this post if we get to know about the install sizes of other PS4 titles as well.
