The Humble Bundle organizers who are known for their charity based deals have taken a step further and launched an online store named The Humble Store.
The news came out yesterday through a post on the Humble Bundle Blog.
From what the casual post tells us, they will be adding games to the store everyday at rates that are conventional to the Humble Team. The previous day’s deal will expire as soon as the next day’s deals are put up.
For instance, on their launch day they are offering nine different games, each with between 50% to 75% discounts. The deals will expire in about 3 hours from now but in case you are interested, here is the list:
- Don’t Starve
- Natural Selection II
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- The Swapper
- Prison Architect
- Rogue Legacy
- Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
- Orcs Must Die! 2
“The Humble Store is a permanent addition to our Humble site that will allow our customers to buy great games at great prices 24/7 and support charity with every purchase,” reads the announcement.
As a policy, the earnings are diving into three portions; 75% goes to the game creators, 15% to the Humble team and 10% to charitable organizations like American Red Cross, Child’s Play, Electronic Frontier Foundation, World Land Trust and charity:water.
The games put up on the Humble Store are usually for PC, Mac, Linux platforms.
