Earlier today a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) was held for the new Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag by Community Developer Gabe Graziani. Fans of the franchise were invited to openly ask any questions regarding the latest installment or provide feedback based on their experience of the Caribbean so far.
One of the questions was about the new voting system in the game where players can review each mission out of 5 and send it back to Ubisoft. It’s an interesting concept and would probably prove to be very helpful to the company in knowing what the community appreciates and what they found annoying.
When asked about the feedback so far received, Graziani revealed that a major part of voters found the late game extremely good.
“The general feedback is that the early game was liked and late game was extremely liked,” he said. “The missions people didn’t enjoy so much seem to be related to high desynch rates (either from death or detection)
“Highest rated mission is gaining the Jackdaw. Lowest rated is find the sage in Seq 5, but its a 3.5 / 5 so that’s pretty good :D”
Graziani then added that all voters are stripped of any “identifying factors” before they are sent to Ubisoft. “We never could tell exactly who any of you are (privacy is paramount, naturally),” he noted.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released earlier this month for the PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version, along with the next-gen ones for PS4 and Xbox One will be released later on.
