Lego Minifigures Online is going to release in the second half of 2014 but before that Funcom is planning on entering the game into its closed beta phase. All those interested in being the lucky few to test this game out in closed environments can start registering themselves here.
The first phase of beta testing begin this month. Funcom also revealed that all those who successfully get to play the closed beta will then automatically be eligible to play the game when it hits open beta early next year.
Lego Minifigures Online is a cross-platform multiplayer title for the PC and mobile devices for both Android and iOS. The game is going to be free-to-play and is based on a mini-figures toy line that will release alongside the game next year.
