Next Update Bringing ‘Alentia’ to Dragon’s Prophet

Publisher Deep Silver has announced new details for Dragon’s Prophet. The massively multiplayer online (MMO) game will add a new playable zone shortly, called Alentia.

With the update, players will be able to enjoy the free-to-play role-playing game with a new level cap, which will be increased to level 90. More importantly, the update will add raids for the first time, which supports up to 10 players.

In Alentia, characters are led to the Dragonheart Temple, where a dormant dragon called Kronos threatens the world. It’s the heroes’ responsibilities to make sure this titan doesn’t reawaken.

In total, the new area will hold five boss fights, which will test the skill of combatants. Details for the first four are known and are as follows:

1st Boss: Sammos the Resplendent
This dragon is able to manipulate crystals for both offense and defense.

2nd Boss: Vita the Stalwart Shield
A dragon with a nearly impenetrable rocky shield for unparalleled protection.

3rd Boss: Izamu the Relentless Tide
Darting under the lava like a fish, Izamu erupts to the surface for sudden attacks.

4th Boss: Fadero the Heavenly Storm
This dragon throws phantom attacks by harnessing the power of thunder elementals.

The final encounter is a surprise, but it would be odd to tease a giant dragon, name it Kronos, but then not use it in the context of the story. So, it’s pretty sure that Kronos is going to wake up.

Raids in MMO’s are known for dragging out encounters to several hours of intense gameplay. Hopefully, Dragon’s Prophet can capitalize on this system to build strong community features.
