Call of Duty: Ghosts Limits Local Split-screen Co-op to 2-Players

It seems Call of Duty is taking a step backward as we head into the next generation by limiting the local co-op to only 2-players. It’s shocking when you consider the move hasn’t been disclosed by the developer.

The last game from the Call of Duty franchise ‘Black Ops 2’ supports 4-player local co-op but for some odd reason, Call of Duty: Ghosts doesn’t.

Call of Duty has been one of the very few titles that offered the luxury of 4-player co-op but now that it doesn’t; it would be interesting to see how fans respond to that.

I am not sure why Infinity Ward would limit that feature, Call of Duty: Ghosts is a cross-generation title which shouldn’t require that much processing power making it even more confusing to find a logical reason for the developers to limit that feature.
