How many of you had their PS2 and Xbox going crazy over the 2005 beat em up fighting wonder Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks? If you did, you’d be wanting more and if you didn’t you better hope Ed Boon is really up to something.
The game creator teased something that sounds like an HD Remake of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.
Largely famous for his work on the Mortal Kombat series, Ed Boon would be the perfect source for unveiling whatever it is that was being cooked. What we have for now is a sly tweet from the guy – we couldn’t help but post.
Someone put this on my desk. WTF? Do they think we’re doing an HD version to download … um.. or something. 8|
When Shaolin Monks was released 9 years ago it featured Liu Kang and Kung Lao taking it up against all those evil folks and the cast of Mortal Kombat as we know it. It came with a singleplayer mode, versus mode and a co-op mode. The final objective was to defeat Shang Tsung, the sorcerer.
Shaolin Monks was one of the four titles that were released from the franchise on the last generation of consoles, other three being Deadly Alliance, Armageddon and Deception.
How happy would you be if Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks gets an HD version? Or would you like anyone from the other three?
