Although it is not the consoles release date but it nevertheless could be the first time that public will get their hands on Ultra Street Fighter 4. A Japanese Arcade, Amusement Game Liberty has tweeted recently that the game will be out on Arcades in Japan by April.
Take note however, that Capcom has not commented on the release date of the expansion so far and it was not an official announcement from the developer. The Tweet was spotted by a NeoGAF user yesterday.
It however is a suggestion that could be based on something because the Arcade also detailed how much they will be charging based on how much they are being charged by Capcom.
A rough translation of the tweet reads: “AML Information: Ultra Street Fighter 4 will be available next year, in April!! The base is being upgraded as well! But… They’ll be charging us 30 yen per play, so we’ll have to the default setting will likely be 100 yen per play.”
The confirmed characters of the exapansion so far include completely reworked Rolento, Hugo, Poison and Elena and an all new character. The game will be released on consoles soon after the arcade release in 2014 as a DLC compatible with Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.
