During the Gamescom 2013 trailer of BF4, an offer announced the Battlefield 4 China Rising Expansion Pack to be awarded to every person who pre-ordered the game. It is now clear that the DLC will be made available on December 3.
For all the players who aren’t premium membership holders, China Rising will be released to general public two weeks later. This is along with the free offering of the DLC to those who preordered the game.
Along with new vehicles and equipment, China Rising will introduce four massive new maps into the game where “players fight for dominance across the vast and majestic Chinese mainland.”
“In the China Rising expansion pack, the all-out war of Battlefield 4 is expanded with four massive maps, using all-new vehicles and high-tech military equipment” reads the official description from their website.
One of the five expansion packs that were revealed in August, it is the second DLC which follows Second Assault, a DLC that has been announced as a timed exclusive for Xbox. Second Assault is supposed to come out on the launch date of Xbox one.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will get it upon launch while Battlefield 4 has been released to current generation consoles today.
