The first episode of BioShock Infinite’s downloadable story expansion, Burial at Sea, will release on November 12, 2013, developer Irrational Games announced today.
The said DLC will be priced at $15 on all three platforms – Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Steam, and will take players back to the underwater city of the original BioShock called Rapture.
As revealed earlier, the story of Burial at Sea will be told in a two-part series and follow Booker DeWitt, a private investigator in Rapture. This is a time before the city fell, which players would have experienced when playing the first BioShock. Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite hires DeWitt to find a missing girl which ultimately takes him back to the underwater city.
Burial at Sea is part of the game’s Season Pass that is currently available for $20 and grants access to both Burial at Sea episodes, as well as the Clash in the Clouds challenge mode expansion. The latter features over 60 bonus skill-based obstacles that take place in new locations in Columbia, the setting of Infinite.
