Most of the games that are being developed for the next generation have been either questioned about or expected to deliver the maximum resolution and higher frame rates. Since the key figures have been 1080p and 60fps, Visual Concepts was obviously not going to lag behind – and they are not. NBA 2K14 has been confirmed to run at 60 frames per second rendering a 1080p resolution.
Executive vice president of Visual Concepts, Jeff Thomas was talking to IGN when he revealed not only the fact that 2K Games’ franchised title would be going heads on with other major titles in terms of visuals, he also confirmed that this applies to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
He was talking to the news agency during a next generation event of NBA 2K14 in San Francisco yesterday.
