Activision’s 100+ million copies selling franchise has had nine main series titles since the first Call of Duty in 2003. Call of Duty: Ghosts is the tenth installment in the series and will be coming out to consoles and Microsoft Windows on November 5.
Since there are only 10 days remaining in the release date, Call of Duty: Ghosts Minimum System Specs have been confirmedconfirmed by developer Infinity Ward.
Couple of weeks ago graphics company NVIDIA had come up with the specs for the game that would take up a lot of the resource juices on your PC, for instance a 50GB hard drive storage. Back then Activision had declared the results to be unofficial.
The official specifications are out now but they come with just a bit of a change from what NVIDIA had published. The hard drive requirement is slightly lower to 40GB – though it is still a huge chunk. Indeed the game will come with a boatload of files, check out the full details below:
- OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit.
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ / AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHZ or better.
- Memory: 6GB RAM.
- Hard Disk Space: 40GB.
- Video: Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 / ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better.
- Sound: DirectX compatible sound card.
- DirectX: DirectX 11.
- Internet: Broadband Internet connection for Steam and Online Multiplayer.
Do note that these are the minimum requirements and not the recommended ones and they would still want a 6GB RAM and 40GB hard drive, well it seems like the games that are going to be made for the next generation of consoles will be delivering such blows to PC gamers all the time.
Previously the specifications for Watch Dogs were revealed and then downgraded by Ubisoft and they still ask for 8GB of RAM under recommended specifications.
Can your PC handle these?
