The release of the next-generation platforms are short of a month away, and Call of Duty: Ghost’s release is even closer.
Activision’s big blockbuster game is set again to wreck the shelves and sell like hotcakes, but with the platform transition close at hand, they’re taking extra precautions to ensure that the experience of the game is smoothly transduced virtually over from the current-gen to the next-gen.
So, if you do manage to get your hands on the, say, PS3 version of the game, and then buy the PS4, you’ll be able to shift all your data and progression to the newer console.
From time to time Activision has had press releases that have highlighted individual features, but now they’ve compiled all these features in the form of a FAQs page that answers most queries that could emerge during the transition.
You can visit the organized page with all the questions on the official Call of Duty Community Website.
The FAQs is a good read even if you don’t have any questions but still plan to buy one of the next-gen consoles.
The general and platform-specific information is well divided in sections, and details the upgrade programs, how they work, and additional questions related to the program. Of course, you do have the option of leaving your own query in the comment, and hopefully it will be answered in the coming days by the team.
Call of Duty: Ghosts hits the retail world on November 5 for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360, while coming out as a launch title (with the effective next-gen launch programs) for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
