State of Decay to Get Mouse and Keyboard Support Possibly by Weekend

The number of gamers who love zombie bashing and survival horror videogames has never been reduced and that has always been collaborated by an impressive number of zombie apocalypse based videogames. Undead Labs’ State of Decay is the newest of them.

The game recently received an early access through Steam and has been playable on PCs since September, the only problem is that it is only playable using a controller. Well, that is about to change pretty soon now.

Obviously a PC gamer doesn’t love anything better than the touch of a gaming mouse and a keyboard to accompany it. For all of you who were wishing to have the same in the State of Decay, you might just get your wish by the end of the week.

A post on the developer’s forum has stated that “progress is indeed being made” and according to a developer’s comment on the two images that were shared on the post as evidence: “We (Undead Lasbs) are hoping for the end of the week. If something goes to hell in testing, it’ll get pushed to early next week. Knock wood for us.”

Knock Wood? Sure we will! That being said, any of you who had held back from ordering the game at Steam, the Early Access offer is still up and running. Now that the mouse and keyboard support seems to be on the way, it would be a good time to order your copy of the game.

The release date of the full game has not been confirmed yet though it is totally near completion; Steam is offering the game for $19.99.
