Alright folks! I do know that a franchise like Diablo wouldn’t have missed out on a console like PlayStation 4 but when the expansion was first announced at Gamescom this year it was only confirmed for PC. Blizzard has now assured that Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will be coming to PlayStation 4 as well – voila!
Well, great news but what they forgot to clarify is that whether the expansion is being developed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 too or is it just the next generation that they are aiming for.
Other than this, Anaheim dwellers can rejoice if they are Diablo fanatics for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls has been confirmed to be playable on PS4 at BlizzCon 2013 which is supposed to be held in the city on November 8 and 9.
For all the attendees, the game will be up for playing in the single player mode and the same screen co-operative demonstrations where they will be allowed to roam the haunted streets of Westmarch while testing one of the five playable classes.
To add to the benefit, the people present at the conference will be the first to experience DualShock 4’s social features for instance the “share” button as well as the touchpad technology. In case you are interested in knowing more about the BlizzCon 2013 head here or here for the virtual passes.
Since its release to Mac and Windows back in 2012, Diablo 3 has shipped more than 12 million units. It was released to current generation consoles only recently in September. Though no Xbox One version has been announced, we are expecting the PS4 version to hit the markets sometime in 2014.
