Trying before buying is always a good policy – if and when you can. Fortunately, in the case of Lego Marvel Superheroes, it is so.
Not that a Lego game would need much of a demo especially when it is from Marvel; we usually know what to expect (in a positive way of course) but TT Games have decided to give us an early glance at it anyway.
The game’s TV trailer as well as some in game footage was showcased at Marvel’s New York Comic Con panel that presents a lively and pretty hefty Manhattan. Although it is a Lego game but the vast expanse of its world filled with countless superheroes is impressive to say the least.
It was along with these footages that the TT Games representatives announced that the game will be given a demo version for PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The demo will be made public on October 15 i.e. tomorrow.
The full game is set to release on October 22 and naturally a week’s early access to the game would give us a lot to do while we wait for the full version and of course let us decide if it is worth the time on either of Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PS3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U and Xbox 360.
Other than this, come November the game is set to be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well.
In case you were wondering what superheroes exactly we are talking about, here’s something to go on: Electro, Shocker, Pyro, Nightmare, Absorbing Man, Taskmaster, Power Man, Iron Fist, Havok, Polaris, Moon Knight, She-Hulk and Aunt May. Another expansion pack to follow titled Asgard Character Pack will bring Malekith, Kurse, Sif, Volstagg, Odin, Hogun, Fandral and Jane Foster.
Oh and if you are one of those who preorder pretty much everything, you’ll get some vehicles along with Thanos, A-Bomb, Beta Ray Bill, Falcon, Dark Phoenix, Winter Soldier as an appreciation of your loose wallet.
The demos will be available on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Lego website for PC.
