Microsoft has announced three new Xbox 360 bundles that will be available for purchase from selected retailers during the holiday season.
Posting the details on his blog, Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb detailed all three bundles. He also revealed that each of the bundles comes with a month of Xbox Live Gold membership.
The first bundle features a 250 GB Xbox 360 console, that will be packaged with a free copy of Halo 4 and Tomb Raider. The second one features a 4 GB Xbox 360 console with a Kinect sensor and comes packaged with Kinect Sports: Season Two and Kinect Adventures. Both of these bundles will retail for $299.99.
The third and final bundle features a 250 GB Xbox 360 console, a Kinect sensor, Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures and Forza Horizon. This one will retail for $399.99.
Note that these bundles will only hit selected retailers in the US and that they also will be running a promotion in which purchasers will get $50 off each bundle from October 13 until January 4, 2014.
Personally I can’t help but feel that they could have announced the Tomb Raider + Halo 4 bundle at a cheaper price. Halo 4 already has a Game of the Year edition incoming and Tomb Raider has already been made available in various sales at around $20.
