Forza 5 Lets You Race the Stig’s Digital Counterpart
A new trailer released for Forza Motorsport 5 reveals the Stig to make an appearance on the virtual circuits.
The character from the British car enthusiast TV series Top Gear is shown in his trademark white jumpsuit, complete with a helmet to hide his eager eyes. In the show, the Stig is responsible for setting course times with robotic precision. He rarely makes a mistake on the circuit and beating him is near to impossible.
However, thanks to Microsoft, players just might be able to achieve that dream. The trailer’s description points out that the only difference between the real Stig and the Forza digital version is that the digital version is “allegedly beatable. But only if you’re really good.”
In the trailer the character takes out a car for a spin around the track and keeps on hitting the exact same time with every lap on the same course. You still think you can beat him?
The Stig is not the only star to feature in Forza 5. The game’s career mode is going to include many other recognizable faces, with commentary from other renowned stars.
Forza 5 is an exclusive launch title for the Xbox One and will hit retail on November 22, 2013.
