GTA Online Patch Expected to go Live Today

Good news for the GTA Online users who have been stuck in misery of server issues since the game’s launch! Rockstar has been working resiliently towards fixing the online version and just as they promised earlier, today we might get blessed with an update that will (hopefully) fix all the glitches.

Yesterday, Rockstar had announced through a comment on their Grand Theft Auto Online webpage that the company was working on patch for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 which is expected to come out into the market by, wait for it… Today!

Yes, the comment that was posted by Rockstar officials last night reads: “We’re currently working on a title update for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to address commonly reported issues with GTA Online. We hope to have it out for download as soon as tomorrow.”

A similar announcement was made through Rockstar Games’ official Twitter page amid thousands of retweets, I just hope they stand true to their work.

We have all known the unforgivable server issues that either didn’t let people go past the tutorial or, if they were lucky to have passed the tutorial, didn’t let them go much further than that before the game got stuck.

Among other major issues; the number of concurrent players was being limited and saved data was being deleted rendering all the money spend to go wasted. As a result, the microtransactions were disabled yesterday.

We can only hope with fingers crossed that the patch does actually come out today and hopefully reactivates the microtransactions.

Another thing that I have been wondering about that could this update bring back the money that players have spent and then lost into the void of server glitches?
