What do you expect from a game as extremely detailed in graphics as Watch Dogs? No Entry sign for 32bit operating systems and octa core processors for starters. Well yes, the complete list of system requirements for Ubisoft’s hacking maestro has been revealed accidentally.
The highlights of the lists include quad core as the minimum requirement while the recommended specifications suggest an octa core processor. Other than that, you will be able to run the game only if you have a 64 bit operating system.
Thanks to an erroneously published page on Uplay store, here goes:
Operating System: Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8
Note that we only support 64 bit OSs.
DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM Dual Layer
Hard Drive Space: 20 GB
Sound: DirectX 9.0c Compatible Sound Card with Latest Drivers
Internet: Broadband connection and service required for multiplayer mode
GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB Video RAM
CPU: Quad core
Examples include NVidia GTX 460 with an Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 CPU or AMD Radeon HD 5770 with AMD Phenom X4 9750.
GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM
CPU: Eight core
For example NVidia GTX 560 ti with Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Radeon HD 7850 with a FX-8350 Eight-Core AMD CPU
GPU: Latest DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM or more
CPU: Latest Eight core or more
RAM: 8GB or more
Example would be an Nvidia GTX 670 GPU with an Intel Core i7-3930K CPU or AMD Radeon HD 7970 and AMD FX-9370 Eight-Core.
Now obviously one would question the relatively higher requirements but then again this is one the first three next generation games so an increment was expected.
Watch Dogs releases to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC on November 19 though the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 release dates have not been announced yet.
