Attack on Titan Gets an Exciting First Gameplay Trailer
Ever since the manga series of the same name got introduced into the North American market, it has been frenzy for comic lovers. What made it more exciting was the announcement of a game adaptation a fortnight ago.
The Japanese Nintendo Direct has brought us the much awaited debut gameplay trailer for Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind and is it exhilarating or what! The 1:20 minute footage is everything we expected from the game.
It’s good news that the game will maintain the soul of its paternal comic series where Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman ad Armin Arlert take up the sword against notoriously huge Titans that are hell bent on destroying whatever is left of the human civilization.
Shingeki no Kyojin, as it is being called in Japanese will be releasing to on Nintendo 3DS in Japan by the end of this year. Of course we are well justified to expect a western release of the game too, especially after seeing how popular the manga series has become.
Nevertheless, the trailer gives us a taste of what the game will look like when it comes out and the first thing that has impressed me (among many) is the character customization. You get to choose what size you want your player to be which is pretty catchy among the rest.
Apart from the main story, a multiplayer co-operative mode will let you team up to four friends together in a challenge mode.
Did anyone else notice the Spiderman-like rope thing in the video? Isn’t it a bit too similar?
The game comes out in Japan on December 5 – fingers crossed for a release worldwide.
