EA Sports has released a new trailer for Madden NFL 25, showcasing the graphical overhauling they have managed to achieve on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game from its current-generation counterparts.
A pretty impressive feat which EA Sports’ new Ignite engine has managed to achieve is the rendering of “almost every blade of grass” on the field; resulting in a very lush and detailed field surface. The trailer claims to feature four-times the texture resolution, with improved lighting on players and their helmets, smoother animations and sub-surface lighting effects on players’ skin.
Madden NFL 25 will release for the PlayStation 4 on November 12 in North America and November 29 in Europe
Jean Adams, art director on the title notes that there are plenty of features that “we just couldn’t do in the past”. Suffice to say, NFL fans are going to be blown away on the new next-generation platforms.
Madden NFL 25 will hit PlayStation 4 on November 15 in North America, November 29 in Europe; and Xbox One on November 19 in North America and November 21 in Europe.
