Jinx: New League of Legends Champion Revealed

Jinx is the new upcoming League of Legends Champion.

I wonder what the connection between destructive weapons and revealing clothes is but we do get to see that a lot. So here goes League of Legends’ (LoL) latest champion: Jinx, the Loose Cannon, and just as the name suggests she is one hell of a criminal with a shitload of heavy weaponry and lighter clothing.

After a brief teaser earlier, Jinx was revealed through a detailed post on LoL’s official website as a “marksman primed to leave your foes marked for demolition.”

Though her destructive blows will come at the cost of mobility; launching rockets, switching weapons, boosting speed through the jungle, she ensures that her enemies stay high on their heels.

The distinctive line of abilities shared by Riot explains all of the above in great detail: Firstly “Passive: Get Excited!” follows her nutcase instincts and “Jinx gains a massive movement speed boost whenever a champion or tower that she’s recently attacked is killed or destroyed.” Of course the boost will wear away with time.

“(Q) Switcheroo!” will let her swap weapons amidst her attack, initially she uses a rocket launcher and when the enemy is struck she switches to a mini gun.

Fishbones, the rocket launcher’s basic attack will “consume mana but gain increased range and deal increased damage to her target and nearby enemies.”

On the other hand Pow Pow, the mini gun’s basic attacks “grant attack speed for a short duration, stacking up to three times. Stacks fall off one at a time once Jinx stops attacking.”

When using Zap! (W) “Jinx snaps off an electrical blast that deals damage to and slows the first enemy hit.”

Flame Chompers! (E) will give her a timed edge insofar as she will be able to throw grenades that will detonate after a few second, so you can plant them before the enemy approaches. In case you are worried about the detonation being mistimed, “enemy champions who walk over a grenade will cause it to detonate early, rooting them briefly.”

Lastly, the Super Mega Death Rocket! (R) is an intricate attack option with massive damage capacity that increases with the length traveled by the rocket. “The rocket explodes on the first enemy champion hit, dealing damage to the target and all nearby enemies based on a percentage of their missing health.”

Sounds pretty damn impressive eh? Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think of her.
