A word of advice from someone who have been there and done that is expensive and if that someone is a real life star like Gary Neville the England’s football coach, the advice is usually priceless. Neville has signed up as an ambassador for the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team!
Having an ever changing and real life based statistical system; FIFA Ultimate Team is going to require a lot of insights into who is who in the real life ongoing seasons. Who could fill you in on that information in a better way than someone who has spent 19 years at Manchester United?
In his ambassadorial role Neville will do what he now does best; provide information regarding what’s going on in the world of soccer along with invaluable tips regarding player choices. He will be writing a fortnightly column on the EA Sports website. In case you are wondering what that l would be like, here’s the first entry on the website.
So far his position is only confirmed for the 2013/14 season through a press release but looking at how the Ultimate Team mode is impressive, we expect it to be extended beyond this season too.
Gary now works as a commentator and football pundit on Sky Sports, so expect some practical words of advice.
“It’s great to be working with the team at EA Sports. FUT really is a phenomenal success and you can see why as we all like to think we can manage an Ultimate Team of superstars, I can’t wait to see myself out on the (digital) pitch again.”
EA Sports on the other hand are obviously elated owing to the arrangement:
“His knowledge of the game is unrivalled and we’ll be working together to give FIFA 14 players a deeper insight into the real world of football that will enhance their FIFA Ultimate Team experience.”
FIFA 14 comes out in the market on 27 September for the current generation of consoles and PC while the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will follow the console launch.
