Not long after they released Krieg the Psycho as a new character for Borderlands 2, Gearbox gave him a bit of backstory with a short flick that showed some of his internal struggle with his psychotic urges.
The short film was a hit with fans and they’ve been asking for more, and Gearbox didn’t want to disappoint them. The most recent DLC they released, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, proved highly popular with fans, so Gearbox decided to take a crack at that this time.
The new film, +5 to Punching, serves as a prologue to the events of the DLC itself, telling the tale of how Tina came up with the idea for Bunkers & Badasses, the fictional game that the characters are playing in this DLC.
It also shows why Brick was so eager to play a Siren in the game. The short flick retains the humour that we’ve come to expect of the Borderlands games now, and hopefully Gearbox will continue to put out short films like this to give the world of Pandora even more story and life.
