Though Blizzard is not that expressive about their plans regarding the future of Diablo 3 on consoles, the game director of Diablo 3 is jolly good – in his own ways.
The next installment for the game, Reaper of Souls may not just be confined to PCs – reports Polygon.
Josh Mosqueira made certain suggestive statements regarding the game’s venture towards consoles in an interview with Polygon yesterday. When asked about the game’s console version he was of the opinion that Blizzard has made it a habit to work on one project at a time for instance, the PC version of Diablo 3 was completed and released first and then the next generation version was developed.
Now he states that the team is busy at the development of reaper of souls for PC and now, it could be wise to at least imagine that a console version might be on its way sometime in the future. This goes with the fact that there has been no official statement on this matter from Blizzard so far.
“If you look at the past, you can probably infer what the future might bring” States Josh.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls was announced a few days ago at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne. With a raised level cap, loot run dungeons, added levels, skills and runes; Reaper of Souls is already making quite a few waves – not to forget the astounding graphic detail.
More on the Diablo series is that Diablo 3 comes to the current generation consoles in September while the PS4 release has been announced for a 2014 release.
