Killer Instinct will feature two different bundles when it goes on sale later this year, Microsoft revealed during Gamescom 2013.
The Combo Breaker bundle will retail at $19.99 and come with six launch characters, two additional post-launch characters, the training mode and all the stages.
The Ultra Edition bundle is going to go for $39.99 and include everything listed for the Combo Breaker pack, plus even more stages, additional costumes, character accessory packs and the original Killer Instinct.
Killer Instinct was revealed in June at E3 2013 and will be a launch title for the Xbox One. It’s original announcement was met with criticism after everyone misinterpreted the game’s pricing scheme.
Killer Instinct is a free-to-play game but offers only one playable character. You can either purchase other characters later on for $5 each or get the whole game which will include everything.
More characters are planned for release as time goes on, with some making a comeback from the original roster.
