If you have already spent countless hours playing Borderlands 2 on your PS3 then guess what, you get to do it again but this time on the Vita.
Jim Ryan, CEO of SCEE, took the stage at Gamescom 2013 today and announced Gearbox Software’s popular action RPG-shooter to be heading for their handheld. Sadly he didn’t offer any more information on whether the Vita port will get exclusive content or features.
Co-op gameplay is a major part of Borderlands 2 so we can safely assume that Gearbox would be incorporating that in the Vita version. Except for that who knows, we’ll just have to wait until Gearbox’s president Randy Pitchford reveals some more details through his twitter account.
Borderlands 2 is currently available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was thought Gearbox was done with its DLC for the game with the last one being Tiny Tina’s Assault. However, they surprised everyone by announcing recently one more DLC release, a newer version of the Ultimate Vault Hunter upgrade. Players will be allowed to level up more and go against even stronger foes.
