Call Of Duty: Ghosts Vita Version Listed on Spanish GameStop Site

If the rumors are true then you might want to add the PlayStation Vita to the platforms Call of Duty: Ghosts is heading for.

The listing was spotted earlier today on the Spanish website of retailer GameStop, which now has been removed. If Activision’s next-generation Call of Duty is really being released for the Vita then it’s being released with its “Ghost” subtitle intact.

So far we haven’t heard any remarks made by the publisher or developer on the rumor. Originally Call of Duty: Ghosts was announced for release on pretty much every console except for the hand-held. The game is releasing later this year for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC. A Wii U and next-gen versions for PS4 and Xbox One would follow later.

It’s important to note that Treyarch failed with their hand-held version for Black Ops II. Declassified was nothing but a mess which got terrible reviews from everywhere. It neither had a proper story nor was it visually pleasing.

With Infinity Ward and the lot already busy with releasing the game for so many platforms, should we expect them to put some effort into making a proper port for Vita?

Gamescom 2013 happens this weekend. If the rumors are true then Activision just might announce the Vita version to the world.
