Following their Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal event, Activision and Infinity Ward have now announced the Hardened and Prestige Editions of the game.
The Hardened Edition will include a retail copy of the game, a Season Pass for all the DLC, a collectible Steelbook case and a paracord strap.
The Prestige Edition on the other hand comes with everything that was mentioned above, as well as a 1080p tactical camera. The camera is a wide-angle mounted, water resistant camera that is based on the actual helmet camera featured in the game.
Both editions are now available for pre-order with The Hardened Edition going for $119 and the Prestige Edition for $199.
The game’s Season Pass will cover four DLC map packs, as well as the “Ghosts Team Leader Pack” which includes a unique customizable soldier for your squad. On it’s own though the Season Pass will cost you $49.99.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is being developed for the next-gen consoles as well.
It’s important to note that if you decide on purchasing a Season Pass on the current-gen versions, then it will carry forward to the respective next-gen console. Xbox 360 owners’ Pass will be carried over to the Xbox One and the PS3 one will be carried over for PS4.
The tactical camera seems a pretty awesome collectible item to have, specially if you’re a Call of Duty fan.
Still though, are you willing to let go of $199 just to celebrate this year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts iteration which the developer incidentally has marked as the “Biggest Multiplayer Overhaul Since Modern Warfare”?
Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on November 5 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The next-gen versions will be released at a later date.
