There are only a handful of months left and Borderlands 2 will complete its one year mark. Still, the fans of this action/shooter RPG are not willing to put down their controllers as they are hoping high for the two DLCs coming this fall that will take the mission count and level cap even higher.
Fans of franchise must be aware of this but in case you don’t know – Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep – was the last DLC pack to be included in the Season Pass for the game.
The first of the two DLCs – Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 – that is slated for a fall release will be available for $5.00.
Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 will raise the level cap to 72. 72 is about 22 levels above the limit imposed during game’s initial release. Along with it, the DLC will feature Digistruck Peak Challenge that will allow players to fight high-ranked enemies in a all new map. This challenge will give players an ability to “over level their game for extra challenges.” And needless to say, there will be a lot of loot involved.
The second DLC pack coming this fall is The Headhunter Pack: T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest that will feature a new mission and a themed boss fight with a gigantic Pumpkin. Although no price was announced for the second DLC, we do know that character customizations will be unlocked after players defeat the Halloween inspired boss.
Gearbox has also announced that extra ammo slots, backpack, bank slots, and extra customizations will also arrive later this year in a free update. The company will also be hosting a Community Day on 14th of September and fans will be able to see the live stream through the company’s official website.
