WWE 2K14 to Feature “30 Years of Wrestlemania” Mode

By   /   Aug 12, 2013

Today 2K Sports announced a new single-player mode for WWE 2K14 called “30 Years of Wrestlemania”. As the name suggests, the mode will allow players to relive some of the “greatest” moments in wrestling entertainment history, including classic matches like Hogan vs Andre the Giant which took place in 1987.

In total there are going to be 45 matches featured in the mode that will be spread through five WWE eras, with “unique presentation elements” that will be historically accurate and give players the feel of actually watching those moments live. They include the same arenas, crowds, entrances, visuals, moves etc.

Additionally players will be able to unlock other characters from the era, as well as arenas and WWE archive photography by completing certain tasks.

The full roster of WWE 2K14 will be announced live from Summer Slam on Twitch.tv by 2K Sports and WWE officials themselves. You can tune into www.twitch.tv/2K this Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 12:30 pm Pacific.

WWE 2K14 will be released on October 29, 2013, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
