The latest trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist acts as an overview, granting new players with every morsel of information that they need to know.
In the video, Tech Ops Specialist Charlie Cole debriefs protagonist Sam Fisher on a mission and introduces us to the members of the 4th Echelon squad. Viewers also get to take a look at the paladin aircraft, the armory with its abundant suits, gadgets and weapons and more.
The squad consists of four members. Excluding yourself and Cole, there is CIA Special Operations sniper Isac Briggs and Anna Grimsdottir, the mission Control specialist.
The Strategic Mission Interface or SMI is a vital component in your survival during missions. A military super computer that’s operated by Cole, the SMI provides loads of battle-data in real-time which can be sent to you (Sam Fisher).
As promised by Ubisoft before, Splinter Cell: Blacklist will allow players to choose their own style of play.
– Ghost approach: undetected and non-lethal.
– Panther approach: invisible and deadly.
– Assault Approach: with a “leave no witnesses” philosophy.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to release on August 20th of this month, to the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
