Bioshock Infinite Being Ported To Mac
It’s official, our Mac readership is now permitted to backflip with joy, because Bioshock Infinite is being ported over to the Mac by Aspyr media.
Aspyr is well known for porting many big, AAA games for the Mac, including Borderlands 2, Civilization 5 and Rage. You can get it via Steam for Mac.
If you already bought the game for Windows, I have even better news for you. You’ll be receiving the Mac version absolutely for free. This works the other way round as well, and if you get the game for Mac, you’ll get a Windows version for no extra charge. You can also pick up the Season pass for $19.99 and get the other version for free (free windows if you buy Mac, free Mac if you buy Windows).
The Pass will include all three of the DLCs that are planned for Bioshock infinite, this means Bioshock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds, Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea Part One, and Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea Part Two. The first has already been released, and the other two are story related and see players return to the iconic underwater city of Rapture.
Burial at Sea transports both Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth to a point just before the destruction of Rapture, and players will be able to see firsthand how such a great city came to ruin. In the first part, players will control Booker, but in the second, players can experience the game as Elizabeth for the very first time. Both parts of Burial At Sea will be available separately for $15.
