Razer Naga MMO Mouse Features New Ergonomic and Functional Changes

He failed to click fast enough and slammed his mouse onto his keyboard, shattering it. His wrist, inflamed with the onset of carpel tunnel, caused him to recoil in pain. “Why me?!” he shouted.

Razer doesn’t want this to happen to you, and it’s just unveiled its latest Naga mouse’s 2014 renovations to keep such tragedies from happening.

The new Razer Naga features “enhanced ergonomics” to keep your hand from the becoming a claw of death, and a new 12 button thumb grid and “revolutionary” MMO configurator.

“Each button on the thumb grid stands out more pronounced than previous generation models to allow for blind-finding, letting gamers more easily execute commands,” read the press release.

The broader shape of the Naga accommodates “a wider range of hand types,” with a down-slope at the fourth and fifth finger rests, facilitating grip and reducing fatigue, according to the press release. There’s also a “tilt-click scroll wheel” that, when clicked in and out or left and right, reveals more buttons.

Razer is also introducing in-game MMO configurator software to set up key binds, macros and “other preferences,” meaning users never have to leave the game to set up their mouse.
