Ultra Street Fighter IV Won’t Be Coming to PS4, Xbox One or Wii U

Ever since the reveal of the new Ultra Street Fighter IV or as I call it, the new ‘expansion pack’ for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, players have been wondering whether the game will see to a release on next-gen consoles as well.

Executive producer of the fighting series Yoshinori Ono took to his Twitter account yesterday to answer fans and apologize that no; Capcom has currently no plans on bringing the game to either the Wii U or the PS4 and Xbox One for that matter.

PS3/360/PC at this moment. Thanks ๐Ÿ˜€ RT @warmlettuce: will Ultra Street Fighter IV be available on the new Playstation/Xbox systems?

So sry, we don’t have plan for Wii U now… RT @FrostySphincter: No Wii U? That’s a shame ๐Ÿ™

Ultra Street Fighter IV will strictly be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC early next year and feature 5 new characters and 6 new stages; both of which have been ported over from Street Fighter X Tekken.

The game will cost $40 and will include all previously released costumes. However, if you already own a copy of Street Fighter you can simply update your game by paying $15.
