FIFA 14 just keeps getting better & better! In a recent announcement today, Electronic Arts told that FIFA 14 will sport 19 of the top football clubs from Brazil. They made the announcement after securing rights from the respective football clubs.
The 19 Brazilian football clubs which will be featured in the game include:
Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Paranaense, Botafogo, Coritiba, Criciúma, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Goiás, Grêmio, Internacional, Náutico, Palmeiras, Ponte Preta, Portuguesa, Santos, São Paulo, Vasco da Gama, and Vitória.
All of these club will have their original crest, kits and in-game players featured in the game.
FIFA’s executive producer – David Rutter – seemed quite excited about the incursion of Brazilian football clubs in the game. This is what he had to say:
We’re very excited to bring the stars of the top Brazilian clubs into our games. For all our fans that support and love Brazilian football, this will only add to the authentic FIFA experience they enjoy, and the additional clubs will bring undiscovered players from Brazil into the FIFA Ultimate Team universe.
Surely the people at Electronic Arts are striving hard to make FIFA 14 an unforgettable experience. In a recent interview with senior gameplay producer – Aaron McHardy – he told that FIFA 14 will have huge focus on team intelligence and precision movement, thus making the game more realistic.
More club licenses are expected to be unveiled soon. FIFA 14 will hit the stores near you on 24th of September, 2013 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. The game is also promised for next generation of consoles but as of now, no release date has been provided!
