It’s been a long time since I last enjoyed some good fights between Ken vs. Iori Yagami; Clark Steel vs. Zangief and Ryu vs. Kyo Kusangi. Looks like the wait has at last come to an end as Capcom is once again releasing Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium as a Sony Playstation 2 classic.
Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium features Maki from Final Fight 2 and have 6 different play styles. Each play style/groove in the game is completely based on a different fighting game. For instance, K-Groove will allow players to have a rage meter and the ability to run instead of just dashing like in Street Fighter franchise. K-Groove is adapted from Samurai Shodown.
Another groove which is adapted from Street Fighter III allows players to do a parry. And another groove which is called A-Groove that will allow players to have a custom combo system and is adapted from Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Capcom vs. SNK 2 will allow players to choose from a gigantic 44 characters’ roster and features fast animations and a classic arcade style gameplay.
The only drawback of the game is that it will NOT have online capabilities since it is a Playstation 2 classic but nonetheless, we are finally getting our hands on the game. The Japanese gaming community has been relishing over the game since September last year.
